A Practice Built for Thoughtful,
Individualized Care
At Aligned Wellness, care begins with understanding the full picture — not just symptoms, but the person experiencing them. Many patients arrive here after years of feeling unheard, dismissed, or told that what they’re experiencing is simply something they have to live with.
Aligned Wellness exists to offer a different kind of experience: thoughtful, integrative care that prioritizes clarity, connection, and root-cause understanding.
Hi, I’m Angie Wetli.
I’m a Integrative Nurse Practitioner and the founder of Aligned Wellness. I created this practice because I saw a gap in how care is often delivered — especially for women navigating hormonal and metabolic changes.
Before becoming a nurse practitioner, I spent nearly two decades working as a registered nurse in labor and delivery, medical-surgical, and surgical care settings. Those years shaped how I view healthcare: not as isolated visits or quick fixes, but as an ongoing relationship built on trust, listening, and time.
After returning to school to earn my master’s degree, I practiced as a nurse practitioner in primary care and employee health. While that work was meaningful, I found myself increasingly frustrated by the limits of conventional care — particularly the lack of time to truly explore why symptoms were happening.
My path into integrative and functional medicine began personally, when a close family member became seriously ill. In searching for answers, I discovered a root-cause approach to care that finally made sense — one that looked beyond surface symptoms and focused on underlying contributors to health.
That experience changed the way I practice, and ultimately led to the creation of Aligned Wellness.
Clinical Training &
Integrative Education
My clinical foundation is rooted in both conventional and integrative medicine, allowing me to draw from each thoughtfully and intentionally.
My training includes:
Registered Nurse experience across labor & delivery, medical-surgical, and surgical care
Advanced practice training as a Nurse Practitioner
Integrative and root-cause education through the School of Applied Functional Medicine
Specialized hormone replacement therapy training
This blend allows me to look at health through a wider lens — connecting labs, symptoms, lifestyle factors, and hormonal shifts rather than treating them in isolation.
An Integrative,
Root-Cause Approach
What patients often notice first is time. I listen carefully and take symptoms seriously, especially when someone has been told their labs are “normal” but they don’t feel normal. Rather than rushing to conclusions, I look deeper — connecting symptoms with lab findings, hormonal shifts, nutrient deficiencies, inflammation, and lifestyle factors to better understand what’s driving how someone feels.
Care at Aligned Wellness is rooted in a whole-person, integrative approach. That means focusing on foundational health, alongside targeted support such as lifestyle changes, supplementation, and bioidentical hormone therapy when appropriate. The goal is thoughtful, individualized care that addresses root causes, not just symptoms.
